MINVALEEV / Approach
How we take a software project from task to first version
We start with the task that needs to work better. Together, we decide what the first version should do and how the people using it will test it.
Understand the task
We review the current process with you, identify the systems involved and agree what the project will cover. An initial discussion can begin with a process description; a finished specification is not required.
Design the first implementation
We compare the options and document data flows, dependencies and responsibilities. Before development, we agree the acceptance tests, including access restrictions, failures and steps that need human approval.
Implement and review
We build the agreed workflow and test typical tasks and known exceptions. Users review the result; unresolved issues are recorded before a decision on production use.
Decide what follows
The review may point to improvements, a wider rollout or a reason to stop. Before deployment, we agree hosting, access, maintenance and support responsibilities with you.
